Your Entire Way of Thinking About Telling Stories to Children,
And It Gives You The Stories To Tell)
Have you ever felt there was something more, maybe a secret that the experts weren't telling you about how to hold children spellbound with stories, how to have them hang on every word, coming back asking for more, building a bond with them, from which you can watch them grow with the stories?
Actually, many people feel this way. Many people would love that closer connection with their children.
But there is no secret. What you could call a secret are the simple principles and rules, which the been there forever - the same as they have been since the birth of man until today. These are principles and rules for success that have been tried, tested and proven over the centuries.
This book is beautifully illustrated. It's whole content has been revised, updated, expanded, and edited by Elisbeth Rasch from the original, internationally acclaimed work.
"Your book made an amazing difference
to how I got on with my two children!"
I have to admit, I was a little cautious about buying this book. I mean, after all, doesn't
everyone know how to tell a story to children? I thought, "can there be all that much in it?"
Still, you have a money back guarantee, so I thought I would 'risk it'.
Well, Tall Tales, Little People, and how to ... was a real wake.up call for me.
The book is simple enough to read, and it made me think, but its specifric, accurate, and no-nonsense information is immensely potent.
I understood what the book was telling me, and I followed it's advice and simple rules. And it worked.
So, I would say to anyone, don't discount the valuable wisdom it contains.
Tall Tales, Little People, and how to ... is a serious work for anyone who wants to learn how easy build up a great bond with their children, and to help their education too... And, also how to avoid the pitfalls that many, who don't succeed, fall into.
If anyone wants to get closer to their children, without a lot of headaches, heartaches, and hassles, then read Tall Tales, Little People, and how to .... They will get rid of the wrinkles on their brow, and you start enjoying their children all the more. The stresses of modern life just generate problems for the family. The cohesion the family enjoyed in years gone by
seems to be breaking down. Meals are often not taken together; parents do not talk to their children, except about the serious
and practical matters - and sometimes now even about those; television has taken the place of parents in entertaining their
children - and some say that is good, without even realizing what hey are thereby losing; and gradually, one more fibre after
another in the bond between parents and children frays, and is eventually lost forever. This book brings it all home, but not
only that, it tells you something you can do about. Children grow up, and the time to be able to do it becomes lost forever.
You can do something while it is still time.
This book tells you precisely how.

You would think that telling stories to you children would be one of the simplest things you could do. Right? Well, yes, that's almost certainly true. But, telling those stories well, so that they have some effect - such as bringing your children into a closer bond with you, giving them something which will always remain affectionately in their minds, and helping their education, and just making them more rounded human beings - that can be quite another matter. That is more complex.
This book has the unique ability to take the complicated parts of all that, and explain to you what they are. The explanations are clear, and the logical rules make it simple for anyone to be successful in telling - properly telling - stories to children. So simple that anyone can do it. That's exactly what you get from "Tall Tales, Little People, and how to ...."
I began
reading Tall Tales, Little People, and how to .... early one Saturday morning after my husband
had taken still quite young children to their school sporting events. I couldn't put it down, and was still reading
when they came home for lunch. Even after getting lunch I just had to pick it up again, and keep reading. After a
couple more hours, my husband wanted to know what I found so absorbing. I gave the book on my laptop to him, and,
by dinner time, I had problems pulling him away from it. He actually finished it, after the children were in bed.
The next day was Sunday and so was a perfect opportunity to put what we had read into practice. Frankly, we were
absolutely amazed at the different effect it had on our children .... and, with practice, we are getting better
all the time.
We have realized what a treasure this book is. It has changed our whole thought process about entertaining our
children, and I think we are already beginning to see the benefits.
We have several books on parenting, but this one is by far the most practical, it provides results, and the children are happy. I never expected to find such book in e-form on the internet; and it is provided in a handy form, so I can simply print it out it in book format, and take it with me in hard copy into the children's bedrooms.

Read this book. No, scratch that! STUDY this book - and then ACT on what you learn from it. If you do that, this book is your ticket to vastly improved relationships with your children.
"It's Simple: Telling Your Child Stories - properly - is great for your child, and great for your relationship with your child."
"There are many people who tell their children stories, but there are not many, who succeed as great story tellers in such a way that they can feel the bond between them and their child, and know that, by doing so, they have contributed to their child's development as a human being.
Today, after acting on what I had read in Tall Tales, Little People, and how to .... for the third time, I finally understood what makes the difference between struggling through telling a story and telling a child a story that really has an impact, in more ways than one.
